Awards
Through the generous efforts and contributions of our community, the Sherman County Historical Museum has been the recipient of many prestigious awards.
In 1994, a national honor was awarded to the Sherman County Historical Society for its exceptional contributions to the preservation of local history. The Albert B. Corey Award was presented to the Society by the American Association for State and Local History. The award was made at Omaha, Nebraska September 29, 1994, and has been likened in stature to a Pulitzer or Nobel prize, or an Oscar, by Ron Brentano, chief field representative of the Oregon Historical Society and AASLH regional awards chair.

The International Association of Web Masters and Designers is a world wide membership association.The I.A.W.M.D. was originally intended exclusively for Web Masters and Designers. However, with the exponential growth and expansion of the Internet, many new, related career opportunities have been created; therefore, the IAWMD has expanded its base and opened its doors to professionals in these areas as well.
