Through the generous efforts and contributions of our community, the Sherman County Historical Museum has been the recipient of many prestigious awards.
December 2000  Presented by The International Association of Web Masters and Designers In recognition of creativity, integrity and excellence on the Web.

The International Association of Web Masters and Designers is a world wide membership association. The I.A.W.M.D. was originally intended exclusively for Web Masters and Designers. However, with the exponential growth and expansion of the Internet, many new, related career opportunities have been created; therefore, the IAWMD has expanded its base and opened its doors to professionals in these areas as well.

Presented for the contributions the Sherman County Historical Museum and Society have made to genealogy on the Internet. 
The Ancestry Connections site contains lists of surnames and links to sites with information on those surnames.
December 2000 Historic and Cultural Heritage Award
Presented by Perm Regional Center of Cultural Heritage  (Web Site)
The purpose of this special award program is to honor web sites that promote Historic and Cultural Heritage (history, arts and architecture, archaeology). (Award)
The award is presented for Excellence in Content.  These awards are presented to sites located throughout the world, including the United Kingdom, Russia, The United States and Canada.
