Sherman Historical Society Offers Host Orientation and Training


Moro, OR – Volunteer Museum Hosts who greet and provide services to Sherman County Historical Museum’s visitors are offered a choice of dates for their required annual orientation. A team of 30 volunteers manage the Museum’s daily operations serving in rotation through the summer.
 
Three sessions are offered at the Museum in Moro on Thursday, April 21 at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 26 at 10 a.m., and Saturday, April 30 at 10 a.m.  
 
Museum volunteers spring into action for the season opening on May 1st featuring Sherman County Artists: New Beginnings by Sherman High School Art Students.
 
The popular Mother’s Day Twilight Tea is set for Friday, May 6th from 5 until 7 o’clock with author Jane Kirkpatrick who will sign her new book, The Daughter’s Walk.
