Moro, OR – Sherman County artist Melisa Smith is the featured artist for October at the Sherman County Historical Museum in Moro. Smith has been studying art since she was a child growing up in Eagle Point and North Bend/Coos Bay.
She continued to study the arts and began creating stained glass for friends and relatives while working for the King County Library system in Seattle. Now a resident of Moro, Melisa is active in the Sherman County Cultural Coalition. Her work may be seen at the Museum at no charge.
Visitors will also enjoy a display of quilted Halloween decorations and new inventory in The Museum Store.
