Sherman County Historical Museum
Contact: Sherry Kaseberg, Director, 442-5514

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Sherman County Fair, the Sherman County Historical Museum’s August Artists of the Month are the many photographers who, over the years, captured images of participants in chariot and sulky races, horse races, Model T polo, trick riding, stock shows, rodeos, 4-H and FFA contests, and parades.
The first fair queen was June (Wilde) Rolfe in 1940, with Catherine Fridley, Virginia Helyer, Claudine Thompson and Marjory Rich.
There is no admission fee for this exhibit, The Sherman County Fair, which will be on display in the Museum lobby through August. For more information, call the Museum, 541-565-3232.
