Seeking Executive Director Applications

Moro, Ore. – The Board of Trustees of the Sherman County Historical Society in Moro, Oregon is seeking applications for an executive director to be responsible for the national award-winning Sherman County Historical Museum’s daily operations and yearly goals (80%), and support for the Board in its stewardship role (20%).
The Society’s first full-time executive director will have the challenge and opportunity to shape SCHS’ long term sustainability as a local and regional resource through new exhibits, increased volunteer development, more diverse funding, and updated long range plans. Visit for more information.
The Museum is open May through October. The Museum Team will be working behind-the-scenes January through April. In November, 20 volunteers worked for 660 hours on the Sherman County Journal project in preparation for an exhibit to open in May. Questions? Contact
