Sherman County Journal On The Move

Moro, Ore. - Key pieces of the Sherman County Journal collection at the Sherman County Historical Museum will be moved from storage to the museum the week of October 24 for cleaning in preparation for an exhibit to open May 1, 2012.
This project requires recruitment of a Sherman County Journal Exhibit Team assigned only to this exhibit for episodic, one-time or short-term commitments. Interested volunteers may select tasks according to their time, interests and abilities – starting with a moving team (week of October 24), a cleaning team (selected dates October 24 – November10), and a research team.
One day, three days or a week, the need for help is urgent. A team leader and a work schedule will be determined by consensus.
This project is made possible, in part, by funding received from the Sherman County Cultural Coalition and by many friends of the Journal project.
Click on Sherman County Journal Collection at for the details.
Contact Sherry Kaseberg 541-442-5514 or to sign up for the late October-early November tasks. Volunteers will be notified of the start date.
