Moro, Oregon – In the second of a six months series featuring local artists, Sherman County Historical Museum will showcase Sherman County artist Shirley Fritts’ paintings and drawings through June. There is no admission fee for this exhibit in the Museum lobby.
Shirley is a volunteers’ role model having lived a life of service to her family, church and community. One of the pioneer Red Cross Water Safety Instructors in Sherman County, she served as an Emergency Medical Technician for many years. As a gifted teacher, she brought a wide range of artistic opportunities to students at Sherman High School.
